Good eye. I'm not doing the review until the stage two alpha tune lands. That looks like a JonV header.. How much better is that over the stock header and how much does it cost? :greedy:

Pictures for the V-Mount?Jonv's kit is not 5400$ but 5200$, with an option to a unique v-mount radiator/ intercooler for 350$ more.

Here is an alpha turbo kit manifold we build. They are specific to the alpha kit, so you don't have to change anything at all, it's a direct bolt on.How much better is the flow and would it increase the HP? I know equal length tubing is supposed to be better and yes it is sexy.
Could you Just get a JonV header and have say an Alpha kit made to work with it?

Hey JonV,i don't know power gains. No one has tested them on the dyno yet. The manifolds are made of 304L stainless steel are .109 thick. The flanges are mild steel, to reduce warping and distortion over time from heat.
Wait till you see the V-Mount kit Jon just shipped meAaaaand my turbo build just got more expensive. Sexy!
Sadly titanium will collapse on itself from the heat of a turbo manifold. I can't make them, which sucks cause I love titanium.Hey JonV,
How much would it cost to do full titanium?![]()
He is absolutely correct. It is a beautiful product when used in certain applications but it wont stand up to red hot temps. We found this out on a drag bike we had many years back. It would also get super brittle in our case. Is that what you also experienced JonV? I do like the colors that it changesSadly titanium will collapse on itself from the heat of a turbo manifold. No, I have done enough reading to keep myself from making the mistake personally. He is absolutely correct.
