Also where do vacuum hoses go ? There's 2 of them
Sorry brother, I tried to get my install doc completed yesterday but could not. You want me to send you what I have? It's most of the way complete.

Also, if you want to PM me I can call you and we'll walk through what you need.
A huge thank you to Blitzkrieg for a quick very knowledge Life Saving help . I am now waiting for ECU and I will see you in the sunset.
Glad to help brother.

You have a very cool experience awaiting you in about 30 miles. As we discussed, the hardest part of the turbo is keeping your right foot under control. :)
Did you guys go with Alpha header on your install?

I chose the OEM stock header, due to cosT and they say it was designed to work as is. I would do if I had the money(I may correct myself after I start and drive today. ) going over every nut and bolt. Then hoses then start STAY Off gas peddle for 20 or 40 miles . Sorry for bad typing I'm smiling form ear to ear and it's hard to See Lol. And it's pouring rain today.
This is like Christmas morning waiting to open presents, and play with turbos. Look I have my own keys and no ones up I hope they won't mind I built it.

I went with the stock cast manifold based on Alpha's testing that the factory manifold flows pretty good.
I really like their header, it looks nice and performs better, also no loose exhaust bolts.
Yeah. my neighbor has the Alpha header. Looks real good.

I have decided my next mod is going to be suspension. She has plenty of power with the turbo but now that I am driving it harder I am learning how mediocre the stock shocks are.

I put the JRI adjustable on before my turbo, I thought the stock ride sucked with little power. If you ever get to hit any good twisties, you will really see them shine.

Yes, the JRI 2 ways from slingmods.com are what I am looking at.

@Blitzkrieg No pressure but how are your alpha turbo install notes coming along? I'm dying to read them before we attempt the install (which I'm already nervous about). And as you and and @WingShot were discussing... I did purchase the Alpha 2 way coilovers as well. Wingshot what general setting do you find works best to get the turbos power to the ground? Lowered a couple of inches with harder suspension in the front for less body roll in the corners and perhaps more of a looser ride in the back so the sling can shift (teeter) back and put more force on the ground (aka more traction) ? Whats the best way to adjust them? I'd like to lower mine a bit as well.
@Blitzkrieg - Also in for the write up. I've hit a few snags on the install myself.

Thanks in advance, Austin
I am posting them today guys. Sorry. We ran into some differences between Deep Sea's 2016.5 and mine that I've been trying to document (and figure that out).

What I suspect is there are two versions of the shrouding and I want to make sure the document is clear on that. On mine, there is no way that oil pan is coming out of there with the rear radiator shroud installed but on his he had plenty of room. If you need the doc as it is right now please PM me and I'll send you a copy thats not quite 100% o/wise I'll have it up here on the site within a couple hours.

Again, sorry for the delay. My job is kind of crazy and obviously this had to take a backseat to that.
@Blitzkrieg - Thanks for the update. I can wait a few hours for the final copy

Austin
I put the doc in the forced induction forum Austin. It needs more work but I figured something is better than nothing. Recommend you read through the Alpha install docs then mine and hopefully mine will have some tips that will help you out. Also please note my comment about the BOV vacuum line that is not yet in the doc that I commented in the post.

Personally I'd like to help somebody do an install and I could probably make the doc really, really good, but I think it will help nonetheless.
Just saw this post. did you get it installed? Give me a call 715-600-2024 if you need help or have questions
