Just got my SS this morning! I also do not do FB, but I also would be interested in any rides you organize. I'm located one mile west of the city on Lower Springbank Road.
I should update everyone on my insurance experience. I again phoned TD Meloche Monnex's direct Calgary number and was told again they would not insure it. But based on Thunder and Rick Danger's advice I went to their web site and got an online quote, then phoned the 1-800 number at the end of the quote and they give me the insurance as per the on line quote????? Same company, the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing!
Looks like a nice spell of weather is just starting so hope to get out for my first ride soon. Too much snow/ice/slush/sand/salt on the roads to drive it home this am, so I used a tilt bed tow truck to get it home.
EchelonNordic quoted me $2650 for full coverage. I am a 9 year driver with a clean record and first two years was motorcycle insurance. I Put a request in with two other brokers and they both turned me away. Now trying with Dalton Timmis, Cycle works Edmonton tells me people are getting covered around 700-800.
That's a pretty easy one SLLEAre there any sponsoring vendors or Slingshot specialty shops in Alberta ? The currency exchange along with shipping is a tough one to take at this time. Let me know if there are any shops, stores or vendors around here.
Still not in Alberta. But yes there is Slingmods in Montreal.Sling Mods Montreal. but i think it is just a relay for the U.S company
