My wife took this clip today for those wondering what the ss sounds like with cat delete.
I also have a cai. The cat delete gives a nice bump in performance combined with a cold air intake.

Yes.

This also drastically lowers heat all around the passenger compartment and glove box.

The cat is in the midpipe of the exhaust.
There is multiple cai available now so the choice is yours. Mine is a early production full blown cai that now is rubbing the hood in the filter area. I am getting a turbo kit soon so it doesn't bother me.

Please note cat delete is for offroad purpose only

Stock muffler.
The mid pipe between manifold and muffler is where the cram packed very restricted heat building good for nothing cat is.

To gut did u just poke it out with tools at home or did u have to cut it open and reweld when done.

It was cut out on a workbench with an air chisel. A few curse words and help from a good friend @wolfhudson and waLa.

It's a beautiful thing. About 30 minutes to cut it out.

Thanks...was thinking about doing the same thing first before looking into a new exhaust....

Does anyone really know the reason Polaris installed the CAT in the first place?....
Worried about states like California?

I haven't even looked at mine, so this may be a silly question, but is the cat alarger size than the pipes on either side or a box shape. If the box shape would not that be a relatively lower pressure area than the rest of the pipes and if so act kind of like a resonator? It does make it freer flowing? Excuse my ignorance, just asking.
