Looking for some help with an engine diagnostic code. I pulled my slingshot out of winter storage and after driving it I noticed I had a 'Check Engine' light on. Scrolling through the display with the mode button the diagnostic code is shown as

SPN = 65551
FMI = 5
and Error Code is 0

I found a lot of information and post for 2015 Slingshot engine diagnostic codes indicating this is a knock sensor issue. Can I apply this same definition to the 2017 slingshot? Also can I try and unplug the 3 plugs in the ECM for a while and see if this doesn't help reset that code?

Yes, codes are the same.
You can try the reset, but there have been a number of real failures of that module. If it doesn't clear, do a forum search for knock sensor, I know the GM part # has been posted and available at the local parts store.
