Posted 2018-06-06 No NHRA approved 1/4 mile racing here yet so...
Have begun drag racing my Slingshot on 1/8 mile tracks here in BC. Need help with several things... more Sling owners to come out plus advise on set up for drags, etc. Most pressing info needed … want air ride to lift sling about 3 inches to make loading/unloading on trailer easier. Will this suspension work well drag racing it??? All other HELPFUL advice welcome. Also see Slingshot Cruisers - BC on Facebook.
First time ever drag racing 1/8 mile with tree … best time 8.831 sec. with stock 2016 base Sling.

As you can tell by my avatar I do enjoy drag racing. My guess would be that if you have adjustable shocks on it to soften the back shock up as much as possible. A set of 90-10's on front would help but not practical at all. I can't remember exactly what tire Bobby ran at the 1/2mile race at Ocala FL but I believe it was a MickeyThompson of some sort.
