I would say if you have the money buy a new one. And this way everything is new and when you receive used you are always wondering how it was treated
and if it is removed what items will I have to replace to reinstall. You think you are saving but buying new gives more piece of mind and the vendors if something is wrong will back their equipment up.
Unless you are getting a give away price I would say buy new.

Good point. I was thinking there was possibly someone who bought and never installed. I'm buying one as soon as I can

It helps most people if they know where you are located.

My apologies. NC mountains. Very close to Maggie Valley where the rallies are held

I think I'm going with DDM. They are in the Carolinas, and I like to support local business. When is the next Maggie Valley rally?

^---- exactly what he said. DDM has been working with these motors much longer.

I ordered a Hahn "Slightly Warm" special when they offered it back in September. I was out of town and finally got it delivered in early November, just in time to learn about the swing-arm recall, so I've been waiting to get that fixed before I install. IF you are still interested in a turbo, Hahn will probably offer the "Slightly Warm" special again as they offered it at twice last year. It includes a free, slightly used trade-in Hahn Street exhaust w/purchase of a new Hahn Stage 2 turbo kit. This allowed me to get a complete turbo system w/exhaust for just over $4100 (I paid $250 more to get a modified oil pan that has the return oil bung already welded in place and includes a $150 rebate once I return my original oil pan). I should probably also add that the muffler/exhaust still includes Hahn's Lifetime warranty.
I was originally going to go with a SC, but by the time you get an exhaust and a SC the costs look to be between $5500 and $7000 with the Welter Dual turbo exhaust system at the higher end and I decided I just couldn't afford that much. Now if Polaris will just get my swing-arm replaced!
Either way you go, Good Luck!
