Here again with a brand new product. This time the subject is Trailer for your Slingshot. Slingthing Trailers has been producing open trailers for the Polaris Slingshot. Well, they saw a need to provide an enclosed trailer for the folks that want to fully protect their beautiful ride from the elements and a sense of security. I give you the Slingcave. First time view. This video will give you an open view of the loading and unloading, and driving in and driving out video. This trailer was the first and under construction for video, the left side is not complete. You get to see it all.
Check their Website out, SlingThing Trailers

Do you know the overall height and length of the trailer? Wondering if it will fit in a garage when not is use. My HOA will not allow trailers.

Thanks for the great video @Samowens44 that looks like a well made light weight (easy to tow) trailer.

NOTE: This is just a heads up anyone that has added aftermarket wheels be sure and measure your "new width" in the front. I think Sam mentioned in the video you only have 2" on each side with the factory wheels.

I do not have the total height or length, but if you look at the video the man standing in the trailer is 6 ft, so we are looking at over 7 ft. It is a 14 ft trailer, so the tongue will be another 3 feet plus, so it could be 17 ft long. I will post the exact measurements when I get them. Thanks for that good question.

Yes, 2 in on each side is the DOT standard. It is close, but if you lean out and follow 2 in mark on the drivers side, you will be fine, a key is to keep going at a steady pace, race the engine and ride the clutch is the best way. You want to go up in a continuous motion, race the engine and ride the clutch will produce the best loading. This works with any trailer.

A good coating of oil on the bottom of your left shoe and/or on the clutch pedal will assure much quicker loading (although admittedly, perhaps not in the desired final position)!

That is one of the best things with our trailers. It's 83 inches, wall to wall and the same for the rear door/ramp opening. On the SlingThing (open) it also has a removable drivers side fender.
