Gail and I at 72+ love the feel we get when we ride in our Slingshot. We both feel like we are 16, and oh what a ride. Folks, I feel it should be a Doctor's Prescription for happiness and well being in your senior years. This should be part of our "Wellness Checkup". You will find out what that is when you hit 70. Now, I ask you, do these folks look like they need a Cemetery Plot salesman or a Group ride with the Florida Slingshot Cruisers.

I agree, DW and I are in the first part of the 70s and ride as often as we can. We have just under 5k on our 2017 since we bought it in August of 2016. Not bad when you consider we live in Oklahoma where it is cold and windy, and some times wet. The kids a church say we are to old to be riding on/in something like that. The old members of church just grin and shake their heads.

We need to find more Slingshot owners on OKC so we can do group rides. One great thing about the Slingshot is that even though we are old and crippled up we can still stay up with the youngsters, to a point.

Yep! Us geezers have a great time with our Slingshots. Some of us like sporty cars too. Here I am on my 69th birthday last November.

After over 100,000 miles on a Goldwing & visiting 49 states & 9 provinces of Canada from our home in Alabama, my wife could no longer ride the Wing, so I had it triked & she rode the trike 2 times & always had a reason why she didn't want to ride the trike. "THEN" I showed her a SS, she said let me see if I can get in & out of it... which she did @ the age of 76 years, after that she would ask when are we going to ride again & where are we going?

    Great post.

That's one thing I dig about the SS. It really does appeal to people of all ages.

While I am in the middle of the age category and it feels like I was 30 yesterday I know how fast time moves and I firmly believe that having a fun toy like the SS is key in staying young. Most of us work our butts off all our lives and you know what? When retirement comes it's time to chase a few sunsets and spend some cash on something for no other reason than it is fun as hell. That's the SS.

May the wind be at your back, the sunset just far enough away you have to drive a bit farther to catch it and a really great hole in the wall restaurant waiting at the turn-around point of every ride. :)

If it makes you feel younger, then keep riding!! You are as young as you feel and we all appreciate everything you have done with your videos. We all love you Sam and hope to see you in SSITS.
