Well we all know that the rearend 20170515_175629.jpg 20170515_173729.jpg 20170515_173717.jpg of the SS looks like a ducks butt. Lol. Just so plain . I really like the splitter kit on the market but can't justify the price. So here is what I came up with. I changed out some of the black screws with stainless steel. And used a can of duplicolor spray wrap to dress it up.

That looks great! Did you lose any inside clearance in the battery compartment?

No clearance lost. Never changed anything. Just took the covers off and sprayed them. The change in color Really brought out alot of the detail of the covers. I really like it for a 10 dollar mod

Chevy power baby.....one of the main reasons I purchased the SS. Great little motor. Thousands made . Great aftermarket. Very reliable (some will argue ) and priced well if you need to replace. I have owned many cars powered by this motor(in some form or the other) and have never been disappointed. That's just my opinion
father was a GM mechanic by trade so I have always worn the bowtie;)

Only ever bought one FURD vehicle. Motor blew for no reason at 51K miles. Swore off that brand for the remainder of my life.
