Rca cable length

    what length rca's are you guys using that are mounting amps under the seats? Is 10' enough to go from radio to amp or gotta get 16'?

    10' should be fine

    I ran 12' and had plenty extra

    Not having measured the actual distance, but just thinking about it, I should think 8 ft would be more than enough. Figure 3 ft from the radio/cubby area down to the transmission tunnel and 3 ft to to where the seats are and another 2 ft to reach the amp. Add 2 ft if you're paranoid.:D

    Ok great. 10' rockfords i will order. My sling is at dealer for recall so i couldnt measure.

    Yep...I have a lot of slack left doing 12 footers. 10 should be fine. And remember...RCA's don't carry a huge amount of power so you don't have to spend a ton of money on them...especially for a vehicle that will be open air. You won't notice any difference from a $4 set or a $40 set.
