I am from TX where O'Reilly is prevalent... but I've never seen one in VA, where I'm at now... :banghead:

I love how aggressive mine looks. I currently have 10" JL marine grade but I'm not happy with the sound. I have a JL 1000 watt amp powering them. Should I get W6 or W3? I know space requirements are different for the two different versions. Oh...and I have the SSV boxes on both sides.

Seems that most people have that series. Any reason that people are not getting W6? Is price the main reason why as the w6 fits and the Ssv boxes have the correct amount of cubic feet volume to have them sound nice.

    Waste of money.
You won't see the benefit the w6 has over the w3 in an open cockpit with sun right behind you facing forward. Just not going to make a difference.

What does the angle of the sun have to do with how a subwoofer sounds? But, you are correct about the waste of money. I've got a few different JL Audio subs setting around my garage and the W3 was a great match.
