Just bought a used 2016 base slingshot with 143 miles. Have never driven one, just dove in head first. It has a aftermarket windshield, steering wheel, rear view mirror, set of bilstein coilovers still in the box along with a alpha header still in the box. I hope this thing is fun. My other hobby is standup jetskiing so I hope this will be a good to rig to get me to the water in style. Looking forward to all the good info on this site.

You sound like a risk taker - you're in the right place!

One slight correction: You bought a new 2016 base. Lots of guys are putting on more than 143 miles riding home from the dealer. Nice score!

This is a great place for advice. Enjoy the ride!

Welcome to the site. Now you need to put a hitch on the sling so you can tow the ski to the water. Would that make a slingski or a skisling?

My ski weight is about 235 so it's a real light tug for the SS.

Welcome to the madness. I'm certain you're going to dig it. This vehicle surely feeds the need for speed crowd. If you are an introvert, then you got the wrong vehicle... This go-cart on crack sure draws a crowd. Each fill-up at the pumps creates an impromptu car meet/show. I feel for your wallet... I am confident it will be crying shortly as you don;t strike me as a guy who leaves things stock.

Thanks, I just bought a house so my budget is limited for a bit. I have some ideas and have good access to a full machine shop and guys who build some neat stuff. Real excited to drive it. Just got 4 inches a snow.
