Let's talk MPG. What is everyone getting in MPG? Please also post if you are completely stock? OR Cold Air Intake, OR Supercharger? OR Turbo? OR other items.

Glad you brought this up...I was getting close to 26 mpg when I was stock...after turbo...it's been a drastic drop...I would say it's close to 19-20 mpg. I am not sure this is what I am supposed to be getting. If smells like I am running pig rich. I am also pretty sure that the low mileage is due to happy feet and feeling the boost.

Are we going by what the ECU says on the speedo old fashioned gas pump and odometer math?

Well the ECM after doing the turbo upgrade is worthless...tells me I am getting 47.8 MPG and that I have 390 miles to empty...and I am at half a tank. lol

I'm bone stock. I drive it pretty hard. I consistently get 31 to 33. City and highway don't vary that much. I use the pump numbers and do my own math. I even keep a log and could show you each fillip, what the price was per gallon, where I filled it, how many miles from last fill and the mpg for that tank. No I don't have OCD. Or do I ?

It depends. Do you write down 32.7 miles per gallon, or do you write down 32.743986921 miles per gallon? (LOL) I have done the same thing with all my cars and bikes using 3"X5" cards filed in a recipe box. I only go out to the third decimal point due to lack of space. Pre turbo I got around 31 to 33 also. Once the turbo was installed, it ranges between 27 to 30.

Stock and just use what the bike says....about 30 mph....and I keep
track of miles in a log book....Use it for a business estimating and
write off 75% of the miles...44,000 since Feb 2015....

20.5 average. 50/50 City/Hwy driving. I do drive it hard and lay lots of rubber. That is hand calculated. I don't trust the factory display calculations.

The ECM calculates MPG and Miles to empty based on the fuel injector pulses. Once you go with the bigger injectors required for turbo/supercharger these computed display values are pretty much worthless.

I have never calculated MPG the old fashioned way because I really don't care, but I can the next two times I fuel up. I'm going to guess about 23 mpg turbo'ed and heavy right foot.

Edit: I should note multiple members have brought up the injector pulse affect prior. I think the last time was Tripod. Just stating here again to keep this thread updated and not trying to steal anybody elses thunder. I actually only noticed it after it was brought up in prior threads the MPG was all screwed up after turbocharging and viola, the cause was garnered from the good members of the forum. :)

I don't even look at MPG or Miles to Empty so not a concern to me in the least.
