Just how much money would a factory turbo add to the price of the SS?

Factory turbo optioned Slingshot.... I would say at a minimum 6k-7k on top of the msrp of today and at about 205-225 whp. But I would think there would be some sort of brake upgrade that goes with it, along with some exterior and interior trim pieces/designs that separate it somewhat.

    Just my $0.02

I doubt that you'd ever see the turbo anything being a factory offered option based on insurance issues already in existence. Polaris (and rightfully so) would have a nightmare on their hands if some novice rider or wannabe rider gets one off the floor and loses control and causes fatalities. It's a part of life in this day and age that the 99% of responsible people have to suffer for that 1% of the fools of the world.

Never going to say never but I also think a factory turbo option is a real long shot. With some estimating a price of $3K how much true profit is in that number compared to the risk of increasing warranty costs? Just does not add up any way you look at it.

A power adder normally calls for beefing up other parts of the driveline in vehicles unless they were over engineered to start with. Overly-sturdy doesn't seem likely with the low-weight low-cost design goals of the SS. The added price of a factory turbo, with profit margin, may be more than you might think. My wild @ss guess is $10K.
