This weekend I am making a custom sunshield out of ABS plastic with the pebble finish. It will wrap around the sides and over the top. This will match my garmin cover I made that sits right above it and it will be removable. I only have a narrow lip to mount to but I will works something out.

Has anybody try different tint on your sunglasses? I found out the amber tint makes it easier to see

Yes, I tried the amber but little or no difference for me. Makes driving more comfortable, especially in low light. I was trying to find out if polarized glasses would make a difference, anyone know?

The only thing I've seen in screens that will work in the sun was the backlite white screens used in the MIL spec Panasonic toughbook and the new kindle screen. I could read it in direct sunkight. But color was not working.

I have a very expensive polarizer lens for my camera that I can turn to to get the best angle. I will try that for a test to see if I can find a good angle. It won't fix it but it gives me a place to start.
