Exotic car(s) owners, do you get more attention on your SS than your Ferrari, Lambo etc?

This is very interesting. As Ferrari & Lamborghini owner, I get more attention on my Slingshot than my exotic cars.

Example: Today I drove my SS on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California and there's a Lamborghini Huracan in front me. People cheered at my Slingshot, taking pictures and totally ignored the Lambo.

    What's your take on this?

not surprising.. until the point where everybody and their mama has one and at that point, Ill sell it and get something else. i dont have a lambo or ferrari but I do have a 2011 corvette grand sport and it pales in comparison to the attention the SS draws.

I was at a car show last year, pulled up on a Ferrari Enzo, "My Jaw dropped when I seen it"! There were people all around it. The SLINGSHOT took all it's glory.

I take my SS to many local car shows to have some fun and kibbitz with all the owners. It really amazes me that with all the classic cars present and all the money invested in these trucks and autos, just how much attention the SS gets. And basically, all most of us did was write a check and bought a currently produced 3-wheeled car. I do enjoy the attention, but I find myself going overboard to praise and "boost" all the other cars, feeling somewhat guilty.

My SS garners way more attention (not why I bought it and to be honest didn't expect it) than any of my prior sports cars (Carerra 4S, BMW M3, Corvette, etc...).

Kinda sucks you got all that expensive Italian stuff in the garage and the $30K SS gets all the attention huh Jimmie?

    :)

Watched a grey slingshot steal all the thunder from a pearl yellow aventador. People were standing around the slingshot looking it over for a while and then while walking away would be like "oh a Lambo" and just keep walking.

If I personally saw a Slingshot and Lambo or Ferrari I would be all over the exotics and not the Slingshot. If I could afford a Lambo or Ferrari, that's what I would be driving. I really wouldn't care about the amount of attention it draws. In fact, I think the extra attention would make me uncomfortable. I love high performance vehicles and that's why I would want to drive the Lambo or Ferrari.

I clearly see your point, but that's exactly the ironic point of the op's thread. The average Joe/Jane knows little to nothing about performance vehicles. Only what's unusual or eye candy to their eyes. And from my experience and many others', the SS will turn more (non gearhead) heads than the aforementioned performance vehicles.
