Here is the video. Just cut that wire and run it to your dash and back to the other side to feed the ground on the relay. All it does it trigger the low amperage side of the relay so it is perfect.

I better get a few "informative" ratings and some "likes" for these headlight post!

Hey Guys, as you know the SS requires a key for the ignition with push button start. We are working with a very well known keyless ignition company to bring you guys the first RFID keyless ignition system for the SS. My dash is in pieces and I have my voltmeter in hand. I'll keep you guys posted as I get more information on release dates, availability and price! :)

I'd like to thank everyone on here. I found a lot of info that helped the installation process

I put a Pioneer Avic-7100nex headunit, front and side speaker pods from SSV works with Rockford Fosgate speakers, JL Audio 5 channel marine amp under drivers seat, front and rear camera on a switch so I can turn either one on at anytime while driving and SiriusXM radio.

Everything turned out great and I have the RCAs run in case I decide to put a sub in

    Here's a few pics

Yea I never go over 15, usually hovering at 8-12, mainly because at any minute songs like "Taylor Swift - Shake it Off" might come on, and that's embarrassing.

OK , Please don't be upset with the song. It was just the next one in a long playlist and i didn't want to stop recording to change it. It has one ugly word that I can remember . And i have a mess. So dont hold that against me please. I have been working for a while and I am super tired. Also I didn't have any of the levels set perfect yet. This was being played direct from my phone via the headphone jack to the amps. It had NOTHING to do with the factory head unit. Also i had it turned down to 1/8 volume till i get my gains set. I didn't want to damage any of the speakers by sending garbage down the line.
Also it sounded hollow on the video. I promise it doesn't in person. I guess the phone isn't able to capture extreme highs and lows.

OK, here is an unedited video of both JL amps running with the Kenwood head unit. Its ear splitting loud and had 0 distortion. In the video you can't tell how loud it is but its borderline insane. I noticed no matter how loud I turned the volume the phone refused to record it any louder. It must have some sort of limit on the frequency and loudness it can handle. I am well pleased. And I even installed the microphone so i could pull over and make calls over the speakers if I wanted to . No seats installed yet. And I still haven't loomed my cables yet. I will have all them tied down and neat soon.

I am having to record with my phone and it just won't pick up highs and lows. But I think everyone can see how it is all coming together. If you are wanting to buy a stereo and haven't yet get a double din unit. Its pretty easy to install one.

Grills are to deep. It sucks because now I have to mount them with a different grill and I may have to do a bottom mount for them. Nothing works like its planned I guess.

    But damn they look good.....

Conversely, when a woman buys a Slingshot, goes shooting, or can hang with the guys and not be offended by rather crude jokes, she's treated like gold.

If she picks up a wrench and bolts on a mod, that's worth a few marriage proposals.

If she does all of the above and can set bones, sew a guy up, and drives way too fast, I already snagged her. ;)

If you put one in a turbo s/s, you'd have to set the light to come on at 3,000 rpm. By the time you saw the light and reacted at full throttle, you'd be at 6,000 rpm and getting too close to the rev limiter. Time goes by fast when you're having fun. (did someone call my name? lol)

Here's a picture of a friend of mine who LOVES having fun - anywhere, anytime
